We hired Jim to replace our roof, windows and siding. Jim worked meticulously to get us the right quote for what we were looking for. His crew were on time, professional, extremely hard workers and did an amazing job of cleaning up the job site every day when they left. Our house looks beautiful and we can not recommend Carolina Home Exteriors enough. Definitely give them a call for any home improvement needs.

Jim and his crew are very hardworking, pleasant and easy to communicate with. They installed 40+ windows on our house and we are very pleased with all the work, especially the clean up at the end. They left it better than they found it!

We recently had extensive work done on our 20+ year old home. The job consisted of replacing old siding, windows, soffit, gutters, main entry door and porch ceiling and porch beam wrapping. Jim met with us multiple times during the planning phase and was always willing to answer the multitude of questions we had for him. Jim and his crew showed up early, and on time, each day and worked tirelessly to complete the job. We were extremely pleased to see how thoroughly they cleaned up the site each day after they had finished. His crews were courteous and thorough and were careful to get everything correct down to the last detail. We rarely use contractors and do things ourselves because we are so picky but a job this large had to be hired out. I can say without a doubt that Jim is the first person I've met who is as much of a perfectionist as I am. When the job was complete we were completely satisfied. I told Jim it was like he brought in a brand new house for us. I would absolutely recommend Carolina Home Exterior LLC to anyone!

My wife and I recently had our home renovated and chose Carolina Home Exteriors to replace the siding and windows after we had seen the superb job they did on our neighbor's house across the street. To say they did a good job would be an understatement. Jim, Frank and crew were more than good, they were awesome, hard working individuals. The owner, Jim came by prior to doing the work to assess the situation. He was able to schedule the doors the same week. I had a crew of two, Frank and his adult son. Frank seemed extremely experienced and took pride in his work. Jim came by both days to check on the progress and help out as needed. They were a pleasure to work and very knowledgeable. Good communication, honest, and very professional. I have one more door to replace and I will be using them for it also.

Jim and his crew did a fantastic job on my house. I had a large scale job, I needed the entire house re-sided. Jim had to reset all my windows for a flush finish. Instead of taking the lazy way out, he did the hard work at the beginning to assure that I would have the best finished look as possible. From start to finish the entire job was detailed, thorough and clean. His crew were professional, and always looked out for my best interest as they moved through the project. He also installed a huge window, and its made such a big difference. I plan on using them for more renovations.

Having windows replaced or installed is not something you want done poorly. If you do, it will likely lead to leaks and drywall rot, and thus a whole lot of additional headache and expense down the road. Go with the best and have the job done impeccably. Jim and his crew at Carolina Home Exteriors were absolutely second to none. We had huge windows installed which meant putting huge holes in our walls. Jim walked us through the entire process, what they would do, the engineering reasoning behind it, etc. It was quite an education but we knew before the job even started that this guy really knew what he was doing. Jim and his crew were on time every day, everyone was friendly and professional, and everyone--including the old man himself-- hustled.

After the windows went in, it didn't look like there was enough of the old siding to finish the job. Jim called around, but the house had been built in 97 and the company that made the siding no longer carried that color or design. Jim and his crew cut and parsed and tried to make it work, but it was going to be tight. Then, one night, I was standing on the porch at about 8:30 PM. Jim and his crew had been long gone for the day. Suddenly, Jim pulls into the driveway and unloads a box of siding. He said, "Found a guy who had one. I knew I'd seen it buried in there about a year ago. My friend said, 'If you can find it, you can have it.' I had to climb over some stuff and dig for it a bit, but I just knew it was in there." Jim waved and said he'd see us in the morning. And then he was gone.

Seriously, I ask you, who works like that anymore?

Jim and his crew left the site literally cleaner than when it was when they arrived. (Thanks for that!) The workmanship was exceptional and the windows are just spectacular. We couldn't be happier.

Jim and his crew did a great job on our James Hardy siding and replacement window project. Jim is thorough, professional, trustworthy and detail-oriented. The siding and windows look terrific. I would definitely recommend Carolina Home Exteriors. Our 30 year-old home looks almost brand new.

These guys are great! They replaced almost all the windows in my house and didn't overcharge me. I got several bids and they were not the lowest, but they did fantastic work. I will use them again for my rental properties and refer them to my friends.
